Fountain Point

Set across 54 acres of lawns and woodlands on a national historic site established in 1889, this seasonal resort also has its own stretch of beach on Leelanau Lake, and is 6.6 miles from Leland. Bright, cozy hotel rooms have shared facilities, apart from 2 with private bathrooms. Simple 1- to 7-bedroom cottages all have kitchens/kitchenettes, and most have separate sitting rooms. There's a game room and a library. Outdoor amenities include a kids' playground, a sandy beach and a nature trail, plus volleyball courts.
