The Southern Mansion

Set in an 1860s Italianate mansion with landscaped gardens, this posh B&B is a 9-minute walk from the beach and 3 miles from Cape May Lighthouse. Featuring ornate antique furniture and period features, the plush rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi; some have 4-poster beds. Upgreaded rooms add separate living areas, and 1 has a private deck. A suite with high ceilings and a fireplace features a private enclosed porch. Parking is free, and continental breakfast is served in a formal dining room. Beach chairs and towels are also provided in summer. Kids over 10 are welcome.
