John Joseph Inn

Hidden amid 13 acres of pastoral meadows, orchards and groomed English gardens, this high-end inn is housed in a restored 1852 carriage house with exposed chestnut beams. Ithaca’s boutiques and restaurants are 11 miles South. Elegant, uniquely decorated rooms feature flat-screens, DVD players, gas fireplaces, organic linens and private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs. There’s also a 2-bedroom cottage with a living room, a pot-bellied wood-burning stove and a kitchen. An on-site fine-dining restaurant serves local, organic, seasonal produce and is catered by the inn owners, graduates of the acclaimed Culinary Institute.
